Rum Bum Outdoors chose Prairie Dog Lodge as it has over 35,000 acres of corn, sorghum, Milo, CRP, food plots, tree strips, Kane, winter wheat, grassland, and shelterbelts. This makes for a great location to experience great gaming. Prairie Dog Lodge is located in the heart of "wildlife". It's not uncommon to wake up in the morning to find, twenty plus mule deer, 50 plus antelope, prairie dogs, covies of grouse, prairie chicken, pheasants, whitetail deer and buffalo right outside your cabin window. The Prairie Dog Lodge is a family run operation with many goals, which includes providing a relaxing, fun, and enjoyable stay. The hunting speaks for itself of which many hunters have never seen so much wildlife anywhere. Come see for yourself to see what everybody is talking about. Prairie Dog Lodge had built new construction in 2009 and you will find that accommodations are now second to none. Located in the Prairie / Badlands region of South Dakota, you will find they have many different types of game. With over 35,000 private acres to hunt, you are sure to have a great hunt! Prairie Dog Lodge offers 3 cabins (each sleeps 4) and 5 full RV campsites. After the hunt, you can relax around their campfire, or tell your hunting tale in the 1,200sq/ft game room. The game room consists of satellite TV, pool table, ping-pong, darts, corn hole and foosball. They also have a shooting range and basketball court. They have many different packages to choose from: guided, unguided, lodging, camping, bed and breakfast. They have many other activities as well such as horseback riding, four wheel riding, fishing, bird watching, badlands hiking and rattlesnake roundups. Their hunting consists of Turkey, Prairie Dogs, Antelope, Mule Deer, Whitetail Deer, Pheasant, Sharp-tail Grouse, Prairie Chicken, Hungarian Partridge, Elk, Buffalo and Coyote.
